螢幕指紋辨識一直只聞樓梯響，外傳新一代iPhone與Note 8都有可能採用，但也都有開發困難傳言，然而就在上海MWC，高通發表螢幕指紋辨識技術，未來打開手機鎖定，只要將手指放在螢幕上，就能開啟手機功能。
高通表示，這項螢幕指紋辨識技術，利用超音波做為核心，可以穿透1200µm的多層OLED顯示器，登錄生物特徵與比對，另一項「Qualcomm Fingerprint Sensors for Glass and Metal」技術，則可以穿透800µm玻璃外蓋與650µm鋁板。
高通強調，超音波螢幕指紋辨識技術，不但能穿透OLED螢幕，還能夠確認手勢方向，就算在水中，也能比對指紋開啟裝置，還能夠偵測心跳與血流狀態，讓裝置生物辨識可以更多元，不僅用於指紋。
上海MWC大會中，大陸手機品牌Vivo就使用Xplay6，展示這項技術，外界認為沒有太大問題，就是反應稍微較慢，高通補充，超音波螢幕指紋辨識技術，這個月開始向OEM廠商供貨，終端產品將會在2018年上半現身。
高雄市政府交通局為推廣兒童從小認識公車、培養搭乘大眾運具的好習慣，自7月起，舉辦「最美的公車風景-公車行動藝廊」繪圖徵件活動，並於8月底，將得獎作品佈置在行駛於70三多幹線、205中華幹線、217新昌幹線等公車內，讓搭乘公車的民眾都能欣賞小朋友們眼中最與眾不同的風景。
交通局長陳勁甫表示，市府除了積極優化市區公車路網、車輛汰舊換新及建置舒適候車環境外，也希望透過舉辦各種藝文行銷活動，讓民眾在公車內感受不同體驗。
這項公車藝廊活動廣獲好評，共獲得157件繽紛作品，作品中充滿小朋友們自己對公車最特別的想法，有車內乘客甜美的睡臉、車外熱鬧的街景、還有變身成龍貓公車，透過每一幅，讓人感受到小朋友的不同視野與用心。更有外縣市的得獎朋友，透過本局粉絲頁表示，非常喜歡這次活動，並將闔家一同至高雄遊玩，還要搭公車欣賞家中小孩得獎作品。
交通局表示，為鼓勵每一位用心繪畫的小朋友，特別增加高雄獎50名、人氣獎20名，並將獲得高雄獎國內外旅遊肯定的得獎畫作佈置於70三多幹線、205中華幹線、217新昌幹線等主要路線公車內，歡迎市民朋友一起來搭乘高雄市公車，看看小朋友眼中充滿創意、與眾不同的公車風景吧！活動相關訊息可上交通局官網、臉書粉絲團「轉動高雄青春夢」。
